Robert Shaw continually recycled his ideas in his speeches and admitted it. His own words:
“My problem is that I have only one speech. I began writing it about 1937 or 1938 - - - and I haven’t finished it yet. - - - - If you’ve heard one of my speeches you’ve heard ‘em all." (May 1971)
